So far, So good! I can't wait to see what you think of your 406! It is soo much better than a 383! Oh yeah, that is just my opinion and I'm sure that don't count! :cheers:

couple of things to check before dropping the new motor in:
sensor hole's (I had one heck of a time getting the plug out just above the oil filter, square drive??),
ground attachment's (near to the above plug, threaded hole for ground wire's),
starter mounting hole's (check to see if all the needed holes are there, my block only had 2 holes and I had to drill another for it to work).
it's much easier to do any drilling/ tapping while its still on the engine stand!
