What year? How Hot? Are the Fans kicking on? Have you inspected the area in front of Radiator for Debris.

Welcome to the C4 group! What year is your C4?
What is it that makes you feel the car is over heating? Is it boiling over or ... do you feel that the temp on the analog gauge is too high?

Has the car been overheating since you have owned ( it's new car for you) do you know if the Engine has been bored out to something like a 383.

When engine is running do see coolant flowing through Radiator? I almost wonder if the Intake gaskets are on backwards with the block off plates at the front right now.

Have you changed the temperature of the fan switch. Or you could have one of the PROM tuners , Scott Hansen for instance, send you a PROM so with the fans set to 210 degrees. I have a 180 thermostat in my car and the fan comes on a 210. Car has not overheated. The other thing you may try is an external oil cooler.
