Default 88 with supercharged LT1

Hi I have the opportunity to pick up an 88 that has been fitted with quite a few performances parts. The car has had a pro charger fitter by Carroll SuperCharging Company NJ and appears to have a Hogans intake manifold. Does anyone know of this company and do they do good work?

Don’t know if I am going to buy it. We are thinking of turning it into a circuit racecar so some of the bit are usable. Here are some photos.

Fyi, I belive that is a standard sbc with an aftermarket intake, not at lt1 engine from a 1992 to 1996 vette. Looks like a fun car.

I think your right it’s advertised as an LT1 but it has a distributor at the back (not L98 distributor either). Interesting.

That looks like it was MADE FOR FUN!

I would love to have that kind of power in a C4. It should be a fairly easy car to maintain and work on. Do you have any details about the engine like what parts were used to build the bottom end for that kind of power?

Don't wait for Christmas, Buy it for yourself!!!!

I am envious as that looks like a perfect sleeper for those who "Dis-respect" our Corvettes. Good Luck GregMartin

Hi Chris
i don’t know a lot about the car because it’s for sale on an on line auction. I was looking for the bones of a racing car and it appears to have those. At the moment it’s the right price but as has been pointed out there is a bit of fibbing in the advert.
This is the add.

Yeah it’s a bit hard to tell what it has. I’m thinking an older small block, small distributor with separate coil and four bolt valve covers. Maybe when they say LT1 they mean the 1970-72 engine. Anyway I’m not sure I’m going to buy it just depends how much it gets to at auction.

It is a sbc based on the 4 valve cover bolts and there size.

Does anyone have any idea who makes the roll cage like the ones in Greg's Pictures that for a C4? That one is laid out nicely behind the seats.
