1988 corvette......im thinking about taking pipes from catalytic converter on back off... and installing a Flowmaster or Cherry Bomb right off the catalytic converter....good ? Bad ? ... is this a stupid thing to do?

Only because you asked ...... bad idea. What you propose will gain you no extra performance as mentioned above. What it will do is make the car sound obnoxious. If you really want to make the car sound better .... then save your money until you can afford a good set of long tube headers
