Proms don't fail very often. May set a DTC. ECM fails more often. Custom and stock proms can be made. Discribe what's happening?

Ok my car is a 89 with a l98 6speed. Now when I'm going down the cruising it's fine. But when I push the throttle to half way or better the car will start to stutter and miss. Ease back off the just before half throttle it will quit. But anything past half throttle it stutters and misses. The car take about 6 to 7 turns before starting when cold and 4 to 5 when hot.

Now I have replaced everything under the hood but my injectors. And iv replaced my ecm. My ecm did have a short, because my miles per gallon gauge didn't work. When I replaced the ecm it started working. So if the ecm had a short maybe the prom chip mite aswel .
also I have plenty of fuel pressure at the rail about 41psi even when its stuttering. And the dizzy is set right and tps is set right. It has no vacuum leaks. And every cylinder is firing. I think I covered most of it.

Really would like to see what a scanner says when you are giving it some throttle. If the pressure is holding, is it detecting knock and pulling all the timing out?

With the fuel pressure gauge hooked up while driving the pressure says constant.

Restricted exhaust. Loosen nuts on down pipes at manifolds or remove O2 sensor drive it see what it does.

It's unlikely to find NOS part. PCM of NC or anyone with the stock files and chip burner could make one for you..
