1989 ecu
I have been asked for a friend to look into tuning his 1989 Corvette. It is currently in storage so a bit troublesome to get to so I was going to find the base tune and files to begin looking over the parts we should adjust. Can any one give me the ECU used in a 1989 automatic car? Online searches are returning some strange results. Thanks in advance

PM me with your email. I have the 6E bin that's probably the best starting point for an 89 auto. In 2010 I searched for (and downloaded) 89 "stock bins". At the time Moates had a support forum (which appears discontinued). They used to have lots of bins (which is where I think I got the 89 auto bin). I would be happy to send you the bin I have. (I figured out it was meant for an auto by the transmission flag and constants). FYI: It is called 89vet 6E.bin
For anyone else reading this, I only downloaded 89 bins. Back in 2010-2011, I narrowed "stock 89 bins" down to down to two....one for autos...and one for sticks. FYI....The automatic bin also has values coded for transmission operation. The stick version is zeroed
