Default Burning oil?

Recently changed oil for first time in my 93 with 84k miles on it. Had M1 10w40 synthetic before. Had some M1 high mileage 5w-30 laying around so decided to use that. I noticed the engine block where i put the oil in was emitting white steam/smoke as well as exaust emitting white smok . Is this burning oil? And maybe switching back to 10w 40 fix this? HELP please

How long was engine running before oil was changed? It's possible it's normal condensation. Coolant level? White smoke normally indicates water or coolant....blown head gasket, cracked head, etc. Internal coolant normally comes with overheating. If smoking clears up on it's own and its not losing coolant probably nothing to worry about.

i ran it about 10 min before changing. But i left it dripping for half a day becauae something came up. Then the very next day a snow storm.came and then i got.sick so it sat out in car cover under heavy rains and snow for like two weeks. Could be normal condensation?

Probably. You shouldn't do oil changes that way,

ran a few miles and got gas. White smoke in exaust drasyically reduced. Steam from engine drastically reeuced as well. Doesnt have burning oil smell or anything.condensation most likely? Going to take on little monger trip in a few min

Upon longer driving i have noticed that the steam from engine has dissipated and most all of the exaust smoke. Car us running very smooth. Was it likely condensation?

Yes, absolutely! A by product of your cats is water. And, depending on where you live, where cold and humidity are a factor, the condensation out of the pipe may not stop.
BTW, one way to tell if it's condensation, the "smoke" will tend to dissipate into nothing, whereas oil smoke tends to linger and increase with throttle opening.
Enjoy that car and stop worrying so much.
