And, this information was available right in post #1 of this very thread....
I do admit you are better than I want to be when it comes to banging your head on a project instead of cutting your losses. Feel free to tell me if any of this is wrong. He bought this past the 180 day period so the Paypal Warranty is pretty much up and done. It looks like it has been installed and the seller probably knew that it was problematic. He pushes it in and the idle goes lower. Maybe it is that the metal circles are not square in the bore. You can test that theory out and if correct, slot the screw holes in the metal and maybe goop it up to prevent leaks and hope like hell that nothing comes loose. If you feel lucky, go for it. IF I am buying a used part I can't test, I wouldn't pay you more than 40% of new if I can get it new. So, for under $200, I think I'll sleep easier with it in the trash especially when I haven't seen much difference on a stock motor. I've seen it do worse on a blind test when we tested it against stock. But hey, if it could put the OP back in his seat, sure. I'd like to see that on a quantifiable test. IF you want to run a blind test on a 58mm TB vs stock on a stock (assumed since he didn't mention mods) like you did with the fuel pump, I'd like to see it.

And on post 37. So yes, I missed it, you waited till he said something to re-mention it. Yes, I should be taking notes on every thread but I didn't. Mea Culpa. Gold star for him, 2nd place (aka first loser) for you.

Thanks, Captain Obvious. I was explaining why I said to toss it. I had a few minutes on the throne so I penned off a reply to you.

The forum and I are honored....as always. In reality, since it was fixed days ago....I'd bet that no one GAF what you'd do with it....it it had actually been a bad part. I don't.

Where is that Aklimmy-go-round gif again?.....

I state my opinion, you state yours. You know what ex-Mayor said about opinions.

What makes you think I GAF about what you think? You say what's on your mind, I say what's on my mind. Don't like it? Guess you'd have to start writing checks of sufficient size to make me care about your opinion of me. PS. Since I am not interested in boning a Tommy Boy, it has to be money to get me to take you seriously. I don't want to be rude so thanks for the heads up on what people GAF about or don't.

How is that different than the Tommy Boy Go Around?

I don't keep repeatedly spinning threads into the toilet with idiocy, miss reading and ignoring facts. But mostly it's different b/c I didn't steal the idea from another poster...that's how it's different.

I admitted I forgot that he bought it from a member, if that is what you meant by "miss reading". What fact did I ignore? I wasn't aware this was a paper I was writing. Perhaps I should have cited better. I gave you reasons why I said to dump the TB. It has been a while since I was doing college papers so I might have forgotten how to cite properly.

I'll admit to misreading for the 3rd time. I don't know anything about plagiarism.
