What do you mean by going through ICM's?

Yes, I know that, but what is happening with them? Are you sure that they're failing?

This is the third one I replaced I put a new one on fire the car you runs great for about 10 minutes while it's running no code. Iet run until it warms up to test drive starts missing then it stops running. The I.C.M. code comes back. Then it will not start anymore ( as soon as I put a new I.C.M on it starts right up no problem.

Have you measured the coil's primary and secondary resistance?

The ICM's sole responsibility is to trigger the coil. That being said, there;s only two items that could cause repeated module failures....a coil with low primary resistance, or short in the primary coil control line. Just out of curiosity you should measure the resistance of the old and new coils. Did this problem come up after replacing the coil?

Just a thought....are you using the grease on the bottom of the module. That grease is to direct heat away from the module.

Spec should be 0,5 ohms on the primary. If your meter is correct, then that coil is bad, You really need to check the coil in the car at this point.

No problem. Let's just do this one step at a time. I just don't like replacing parts without testing. Stay cool buddy!

When this thing cuts out, are you losing spark or injector pulse, or both?
