Default air intake kit

butchered my stock intake a few years ago to fit in a "cold air" ram something or other......rather than the cost to go back to stock , I'l like to know if there is any system that keeps the filter in the engine compartment......85.....just a little curved one off the maf would do.......anything like that??????

All but the Airaid intake are inside the engine compartment. Do you mean, aft of the radiator? IDK of any that are. You could adapt one from an F-body or other application that places the air filter behind the radiator.

thanks.....shot in the dark.....replacing the stock air duct and filter won't be too bad, just sorry I cut that hole out to mount that ram air system in......going to have to replace that part, not sure what you call it or if I can get it.....

I think that would be the radiator shroud. A repair would be easy and not to noticeable. I would glue or rivet down some galvanized sheet metal which could be painted black.

They are available used (and new) and are easy to replace. Do not put an air filter between the radiator and the engine. That air is hotter than where the factory intake pulls the air in.
