hard numbers?
I was just playing around with a spreadsheet that I had. Rule of Thumb calculation for potential HP from air flow is:
air flow at 28" water x .257 x Number of Cylinders
So it looks like for every 1 cfm increase in airflow would equal ~2 HP potential increase. Does that sound right?
I found some information that says a SR flow is 233 stock and can go up to 278 heavily ported. This surely can't mean you can pick up ~93 HP from just porting. I realize this is all in theory, but do you think 1/2 that HP is possible just from massaging the SR and base? :confused:
