I ordered a B&M from summit and by the way they did a great job on getting it to me fast
Anyways, I'm planning on installing it tomarrow night, I've already installed one on my Camaro however this looks a little but differant. Is thier anything I should know before hand ( Any problems, Tools, Helpful hints to get me though it)?
They say I need to drop the exhaust???? Why do I need to get under the car at all? THanks guys
Can't help you w/ any tips as I haven't done this yet. However if you don't mind keep us updated on the install as I am considering installing the B&M in my car soon. Goodluck, I'm sure others will chime in that have installed one.
The install is pretty rough if you dont have a lift!.... The exhaust doesnt HAVE to come down.... But it gets tight up there. Hope you have small fingers. And Have someone there with you while doing it sitting in the car as your under it. I would say without a lift your looking at a solid 5-6 hours for install just because of the PITA factor
With a lift, its not to bad about 2 hours start to finish.... I got halfway through doing it and turned back because one of the rivets where in upside down (tranny must have been out prior to me buying the car) so I have to drop the whole tranny out to acually do it...... Ugh... Oh well... The tranny drops right out... shouldnt be to bad
