Most used phras around her.... "Don't ask any questions you really DON'T want to hear the answer to!"
Personally I really don't like the crinkle finish. It looks well, I can't say... Greg's got it on his boat engines. :U OK, Slovenly, Unkempt, Unprofessional and just plain FUGLY! :p: :reddevil
(There will be paybacks for that no doubt.) :jester
I say gloss black with something neato done to the raised ribs.
perhaps polished... I donno... I agree with atotalnincompoop. maybe not yellow, but something different to break up that mass of black.
perhaps extend the shiny ribs to the valve covers.
i don't like the yellow either, just an idea, but you can get a powder coat that looks like chrome, it sucks on a large area but on the small narrow ribs it would work fine
i chromed (powdercoat chrome) my intake, runners and plenum as well as assorted other parts, its not too bad
Im not big on the crinkle- I would do like a gunmetal blu\black, that would be way cool!
Or i would do a gloss black with yellow accents, make the runners yellow and throw yellow wires on it. That would look cool. Next time you paint the car, put the deeper competition or millenium yellow on it.....that will look good!
