Thanks lol. I have a purple wire cut in two in my wiring harness after pulling off the black wrapping, but it continues to run. I have been moving everything around and nothing seems to be shutting off anymore, she just keeps going. What wire could most likely be the culprit?

If it's purple and white, that's the high resolution signal from the optispark. The car doesn't need it to run, but it will be pissed off about it. The critical timing signal from the opti is a red/black wire. The opti also needs a reference feed (pink/black) and voltage (red) to run properly. All of this information was in the FSM page I posted earlier.
Good luck. Sounds like what I said back on page 2 stands.

Am I able to test all my ignition wires with a test light? I just messed around with it today for the first time in a while because school got in the way. I got the pink and green wire lighting up after piercing it, but nothing from the black/white and white wire. For black/white and white wire, I tried turning over the engine and testing at the same time but no light again. I tested them all with the ignition on in the same location just before the ICM connector plug. Any ideas or other places to test ignition harness?
in violent 1st gear accel, the car would suddenly shut down and restart when i let odf the gas
i thought it was a ground issue.
turns out the ecm piggyback adapter was ‘falling out’ of its socket
simply pushed it back in and all was good again
too bad it took me 6 months to figure out
lmao not on a 1994 sir, there's nothing to 'fall out' since it's flash-based rather than MEMCAL-based and the 94-96 PCM is robust as all get out

Have you acquired an FSM yet? The flowchart for testing the ignition system is in book 2, section 6E3-C4. The low resolution pulse can be seen using a scantool. The tests you can do with just a multimeter are just static tests.

I have not been able to acquire an FSM yet. I was wondering if I could just replace the ignition wiring all together by myself by cutting the old stuff out, but then again I don't know how many wires to pull. Don't know, maybe I just get burnt out dealing with this crap nowadays. For now though, I will try scavenging the internet to figure out what to look for on voltage.
I totally get that it's a PITA. But this is one of those cars that's gonna require a lot of work to get working again, so having an FSM will be invaluable. Neither of my cars were as bad off and I bought one within a week of ownership.
Alright, I just ordered one off of Rock Auto and will be messing with this PITA until it comes in. Thank you for always responding to my messages by the way, you have helped weed out a lot of problems through this man.
Hey, no worries. There's only so much I can do through the internet, so I like to try to help where I can. If it were kosher 'round these parts I'd just give you the FSM. But that's apparently frowned upon in the Corvette community, so $20 will have to do. At least it's not like...several hundred for torn and faded physical books.
