When I removed the air filter housing, I noticed the small vacuum line that I believe is supposed to be connected to the driver side throttle body assembly. I have only owned the car for a couple weeks, so I am going through it getting issues and regular maintenance items taken care of, so I am not sure. Here is a pic and I think it is supposed to go where you see that blue colored vacuum cap. Can you help me confirm?
Thanks

that is for the thermal flaps on the filter housing... there are two diaphrams similar to on the HVAC system that actuate the flaps by the cold air ducts on the filter side. Not a big deal that it is off. It is a common mod and it is only there to help heat the intake in the cold. It allows the heat pipe off the driver side manifold to be the only source of intake air until it has some heat in it.
84+3.. Thank you for confirming this, really appreciate that. Think I will connect it back up when I install back the air filter housing, though i wonder what someone was thinking the benefit of capping that was..
I wonder if you might know the answer to another question I posted today regarding the coolant temperature sensor? I have the new sensor though not sure I have located the correct old part. I think I have, but would like someone to take a look just to confirm. I may have posted this in the wrong section. Here is a link. Thanks https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-the-one.html
