ENGINE:
lt4 hot cam
1.6 roller rockers and comp cam chrome moly pushrod

52mm BBK throttle house
electric water pump
gm high performance cam chain kit (lt4)
adjustable fuel pressure regulator
smaller underdrive pulley
ported maf sensor
vortex rammer cold intake
big mouth on the intake
extra oil cooler for automatic transmission
new cooler
new ac cooler
new ignition cables
bigger spreaders 30 l/s

headers tpis long ceramic coated
lt4 knock module in the ecm

New gearing to 3.73 from 3.07
Other than the headers and cam and gears, I'm not really sure what the rest are good for. Why are you changing knock module on it? What are the spreaders you speak of again?

These are all things already done to this car that he is considering buying, not things he wants to do to it. I have no idea what the idea behind the LT4 knock module is. I've never heard of that "modification."

Korvet69 - IMHO - the PCM NEEDS to be tuned (reprogramed) to work with the LT4 Hot cam. It would also need to be tuned to work with larger Injectors (I believe that's what your post referred to as spreaders). If the car idles reasonably, and accelerates well - all the way up to the upper RPM range - then the PCM WAS Reprogramed).

The factory LT4 was available only in 1996 and was rated 330 HP from the factory - but the LT4 only came with the manual gearbox - the auto gearbox cars got 300 HP LT1's.

Back in the day - GM said that an LT4 engine with the Hot Cam, Headers, and tuning could obtain 400 - 425 Crank HP. But the LT4 came with Better cylinder heads, and it looks like the car you're looking at has the LT1 heads that simply do not flow as well. I would think that 350 - 375 Crank HP is realistic for what you are looking at.

The biggest "issue" I see for you is that the LT1 / LT4 engines were not used in many cars - and it is difficult to find people over here that know how to work on them. I expect it will be a lot worse in Sweden. Just my opinion, but consider going for a C5 with either an LS1 or an LS6 (Z06 models). They are probable going to be easier to get serviced as they are more similar to what's sold today.

The issue with that is simply that you don't know whether the guy doing it was a hack with a laptop or someone who knows what they are doing and did it right.

Maybe your right, but the problem is I like the c4 with the clamshell hood, I don’t say c5 are bad. I wish I could buy all generations of corvettes 😀

You have to either be BOTH able AND willing to DIY everything unless you have a few "someones" who want to fix it when you have an issue. I have run into that issue more than a time or two where the shop tells you they prefer not to work on it in not so many words. That or they charge exorbitant amounts so they are either covered well or you go somewhere else. I would line up who you can go to if you have problems, at least, until you are BOTH able AND willing to DIY
