Default QA1 Hal single adjustables

Hey, Just curious if anyone runs these. I have for many years..
But, just noticed a slapping noise when I go over bumps, very similar when you go over a curb and tires slaps, kinda.. I am curious what setting you all run, specifically with ZO7 springs, the real stiff 89 type or as close as possible.
I am wondering if I need to run this shock at higher settings, 10-12 clicks due to stiffer spring? Thoughts?

..... A lot of the street class adjustable shocks use rubber or poly mounting bushings ... neither will last forever ... might be worth a look .....

I will check them out. Fronts fine. No noises etc up there. Rear, just some thumps and squeeks..
Its a stiff spring, no doubt, the 89 ZO7s.

Okay, Reduced the stiffness from 8 to 4, and everything smoothed out. Maybe setting 8 is too damn stiff for the rear?

I have run these same shocks for many years, I run "3" on the street.I can adjust from 4 to 6 for autocross to increase or decrease oversteer. So "yes", 8 is way too stiff.
