1993 coupe help needed
just bought a 93 6 speed coupe with 13k miles that wasn't driven very much, a very clean nice car, my issues are as follows, brakes seem spongy put will pump up tight, then when you drive it it gets spongy again, pump it drive a liitle more and next time you stop stops ok pedal still good. next stop still good 10 min later spongy again, no visable leaks on calibers or lines BUT, there is evidence of master cyl, leaking as there is evidence wet and where brake fuel has dripped on frame and ate paint off. what to do first? replace master cyl? can i bench bleed new master cyl and put on and not have to bleed brakes? next when you rev the engine in neutral you heard a slight rattle in the sounds like exhaust system, do catalic converers rattle? next the reverse lockout **** you lift up on for reverse is extremely stiff to pull up on how do fix that? thanks in advance!

Drifting
The moment you break the seal on the master cylinder by removing the primary brake lines, you've introduced air into the system. You should never install a new master cylinder without bleeding the lines. In addition, since you have a '93, you will also need to bleed the ABS prime pipe after bleeding the brakes following the master cylinder replacement.
It certainly sounds like you need a new brake master cylinder.
The rattle in neutral, does it go away if you push the clutch pedal? If so, that's your transmission, and it's 'normal'.

Safety Car
Take it to a Corvette only shop see if you can bring your own master cylinder for you are playing with a very different car and your life! I have a 93 bought new that has a hard pedal and 16000 miles.

Le Mans Master
I would thoroughly flush/bleed the brake system before doing anything else. Brake fluid service is probably the most commonly neglected item on vehicles, and it's very likely long overdue on the one you just bought. Start there, and you'll have fresh fluid in the system, and any trapped air should be removed. Then see what you have, and take it from there as required.
