Light sensor
I am in Canada so have a light sensor on my 90 that opens and turns on the headlights if it is dim outside. It also does it when you pull in the garage, go under shaded trees or it is overcast PITA. I was told how to override it by putting a fuse in in place of the sensor. The sensor, so I'm told is in front of the driver on the dash top. Problem is if this is the sensor it should be very easy to test by blocking the light. When I put my finger over it I would expect the headlights to come on but they don't. Is there something I'm missing or am I blocking the wrong sensor?

EDIT: Also note that the DRL system is defeated if the parking brake is on. So if you were trying to trigger it while parked with the parking brake on, it wouldn't work.
