Default mystery control box

i just bought a 1990 corvette convertible. in looking it over, i found a mystery control box in the storage area between the seats. box is clear, 4 wires coming out, 3 buttons, button1 = "factory adjustments only", button2 = "sensitity UP" button 3 = "sensititiy DOWN". i assume red wire is power, black wire is ground, got a blue and green wire, no other marks on the box, also has a red LED and a green LED, i have seen the red led come on, have not seen the green led come on, but hard to see while driving. so, does anyone know what this is? who makes it? how it is supposed to work? i have not looked for extra wire on the engine yet. I have not touched it yet.

Don’t cut the green wire! Or is it the blue wire? Darn it, I always get this wrong.

but really don’t know what it is, i think it might be part of an alarm system for a motion detector maybe?

My best guess is a shock sensor for an aftermarket alarm.

Either that or it is to activate the rocket motor for the ejection seat. Can't be a flux capacitor. Too small. See THIS.

I have always wanted to fine one with the ejector seat option.

Look at the picture. Think about it. Different cars go over the same bump and feel different. That is why you need something to adjust the sensitivity.

I just need one that has a "mother in law" setting.

Mother In Law:= MIL
Malfunction Indicator Light (aka Check Engine Light):= MIL

Is that a coincidence both are MIL? I think not.
