Ok so i hear nothing through the pump, pump is def dead...Put the new one in...I hear this one kick on....and prime...Just NOthing still..Nada....Fuel Pump relay?

C4dreams....my fuel pump went out too awhile ago. Go to Autozone. They had a AC Delco Corvette fuel pump for $80, lifetime warrenty, included a new sock. I replaced it about 4 years ago.....no problems since and Ive boosted my fuel pressure about 4 lbs. Hope this helps. :cheers:

What it did was i left my house, went out my driveway got about 100 Feet down the road and then it just died no sputter, no nothing just slowly going down my road when it just died. Tried to start it back up but it just keep cranking nothing happened..Just cranks over...Now i thought it was the fuel pump cause the old one wasnt making much noise, and it usually takes like 2 long cranks to get it running anyways. Just so happends that the fuel pump wouldnt toss any fuel...Now i have the new one in there, i think its making some noise but my car is loud *fan, amps that bump on and off, * so i have no idea...Im just gunna bring it to a shop....

FUel pump was tested at AutoZone, dead...as for what was really wrong with it...ACcording to the machanic...Dist shaft broke....I can actually see why it might have but dang...All L98 Dist look like t his if your looking directly down on it from the front of the car -- mine was like this / and the plug wires were installed acording to what it should be, b ut the dist prob needed to turn more advanced and it couldnt because some joker installed the dist off 2 teeth or something like that....Gata luv that BS....Cause when i turned my dist to this - car wouldnt run..turn it to / and it would run...Grrr...note from my parents...They say i have to sell it. Great so if i have more probs coming up and i know i do becuase of the joker who i bought it from half BEEPED everything in the car...Anyone want a vette...Sell it cheap...Then im gunna save and buy an LT powered one. When i can afford it.
