Hello, I have an 1989 Corvette automatic trans. I am replacing the shift indicator and the shifter boot. Their are metal caps that the indicator and shift boot screw into. I am missing 5 of them. My question is does any one know what these caps are called and where I can get them from? Thanks Bill

They are called On-Sert and I bought some years ago best I recall a vendor in Kentucky or the vicinity. The link isn't the vendor but just an image I hit easily.

Since some of you have needs how about getting dimensions from yours, measure also the towers and maybe a solution could be found. Use this Apex Metric diagram and dimensions to ID. I'll try to find the email of the person I used many years ago. I found what I guessed I used on eBay today 12$ per 100 + ship. There's likely other sources but do the measure and confirm!
