C4 shift jumping
Hello everyone! First question here....
My C4 manual shifter is jumping when switching gears, I ordered a transmission mount to only find out there is one. I read on a thread about the beam and the bolts may be lose. But all of that is fine. Does anyone else know what could be going on with this???? We need it fixed asap, its driving us nuts. Please help! Lol

You somewhat limited as what you can do with trans in car. Define jumping.
6 speed the shifter assembly bolts to top of transmission. Removing shifter you may find worn parts. It's also possible worn detents for shift rods within transmission. Transmission may have to come out and apart to correct. Google zf

4+3 uses a T10 mated to a electric overdrive. It uses a unique shifter set up with the shifter mounted to the body while the rods attach to.external levers on transmission. Severely worn engine mounts could set up a shifter concern. Dirt and debris can foul shifter. The side cover can be removed. Shift forks, gears, synchronizers canbe inspected prior to removal.
