My 1990 corvette has the SYS flashing. ran the codes, I get 31 33 35 37 and 72. the first four all seem to have to do with communication with the LCD, and the last is for dimming the radio. the car has a aftermarket radio that the car came with. I'm wondering if all these errors has to do with the factory radio missing. I should add that the display on the dash all seems to work correctly, the only thing that I've notice is that tach seems to be off at higher rpm. the service book has notes that has that the LCD would freeze, or have other problems that I haven't seen. So there do I go from here?
I read that you can install resistors in the original wire loom for the factory radio. this will take care of the 72 code, but will it take care of the other codes of a open condition?

Tach is of course a separate issue and there's various approaches to a correction. Some DIY, others involve a 'for hire'.

I don't believe you'll know until you actually address that issue. I don't believe anyone can comment directly that it will OR won't. MIGHT? It is certainly one that is a DIY for resolution. You've likely read related postings. Do it and post back!!!
