Default 86 intake gasket

Everything seemed to go well with the intake manifold gasket install. Used felpro and :this side up was "up", fingers down pointing towards galley, used super take only around bolts to hold it in place (per felpro instructions) but I noticed the gaskets are puffed up on edges. Intake is clamped down ok and tight, used the correct tightening sequence. Is this normal. The ports aligned when I tacked them up but looking at the picture it looks like the gasket dimple is wrong. I dont think there is a way I could have screwed them up, only one way on.

More good news for frankenvette. The thing that looks odd other then the lifting of the gasket is the gasket dimple lines are in the wrong place, or it looks like it but like I said, there is only one way for them to go on.

I think they are fine. Here is a shot of my cars installed, it's hard to see but you can definitely see the extra seal ridge under the PCV tube drivers side which I am guessing is a "used for multiple vehicles" seal line. The other shots are from my recently removed intake gaskets when I installed lifters. You can see the impressions going across the same area as your intake. The impressions run right through the middle of the "extra" seal lines. The third shot is of the gaskets placed on the table as they would be in the car with the "this side up" markings where they should be and steam holes to the rear. I believe you got it right and are worrying about the extra seal lines.
