What size injectors ?

What size injectors ?
I'm installing an ATI blower, I was thinking FMS racing 30# injectors from summit. Will that be too much?
1986 ZZ4, Super Ram, LT4 Hot Cam, 1.6 RR's, TPIS Headers,MSD and Chip.

Well I heard that you take the HP number and divide it by the number of injectors.
So say that you have 500HP and 8cylinders and 8 injectors that would be 62.5HP per Injector. Then you would divide that number by two to get 31.25 and divide that by 0.8 to get 39 so you would need 40psi injectors for a 500hp Engine.
The other way is to find out how much power an injector can handle- 30psi injectors x0.8( BASE standard) to get 24 then times that by 2 to get 48. SO eash 30 psi injector would handle 48HP so 8 of them would handle 384HP, Maybe some more maybe some less than that number. :yesnod: Hope this helps you out

The blower is a 600BR with 10PSI, the person I bought it from had it on his 86, he had a cam and headers and ran 24# injectors and put out over 600 HP.
I think I might step it down to 6PSI to make it a bit easier on the motor.
I have the in tank FP and I will be adding a second one that comes with the kit.
Summit has the Ford Racing 30# injectors for $220.00, will they fit and work in our cars? I read posts of using FMS injectors, are they the same as the Ford Racing injectors?
