I have a 93 LT1 that has developed a skip. It skips while going down the road. This problem is really starting to drive me nuts, but I can't find anyone around here with service manuels that can tell me where to start looking for the problem, so if any of you have ever had this problem please let me know how you cured it .
thanks
It could just need a tune up. When were the plugs and wires changed last? Mine started to develop a miss and I figured I'd spend $60 on plugs and wires first to see if that fixed it, and it did! That was 15000 miles ago, so I don't think the opti is bad.
I guess I should have mentioned that I had already changed the plugs and wires, and it didnt fix the problem. I even double checked to make sure that hte wires were making contact.
Welp, in that case, your Opti is seriously suspect. Just for grins, check your coil connections and opti harness plugs, but I think you're in for an opti/water pump replacement. :yesnod:
