So Im pretty sure I need to replace my u joint......I have a 93 vette.....how much are they? and how much labour?........oh by the way....yeah my cars makes alot of clunking sounds in the rear when i shift.......It should be the u joint right?.....thanks Todd
the neapco joints and spicers are the only joints worth buying and sure enough that's all they sell. don't consider any other brands..seriously, both those are made very exact and cold forges. i just tried some neapco joints and seriously can say they are on par with spicer. i have no idea what a shop would charge for labor as i do all mine myself. just make sure the shop you hire presses them in & doesn't beat them. the install will make or break the life of the joint.
I did my u-joints 6 months ago. They were not that bad....i did have acces to my schools auto shop though. Once you do one the rest are easy. Do it yourself and save some $$$. :seeya
