Default ATI Intercooler Question......

Pretty straight-foward question.....

Will the Single 2-core Intercooler made for the 85-89 (upright radiator) Work on a 90-91 (angled radiator)?

If you're looking for an ATI intercooler for the LT1 vette (polished Aluminum over the top of the radiator) I have one I will sell for fifty cents on the dollar for whatever ATI sells them for....it's a very clean IC. If you're interested let me know.

I think it is a 2 core intercooler. It is the one they sell as a normal part in their 1995 LT1 Vette kit. It has about 8-9k miles on it and it is in very good condition. When freshly polished, it looks like a mirror. I also converted the tubing to it (no modications to the intercooler itself) to a blow through MAF meter (makes it more responsive and reduces idle surge/drift). I recently went with an Accell Gen VII ECU and switched to speed density so I no longer use the MAF--throw in $20 bucks and I'll include the rubber tubing needed for the conversion...actually, make me an offer on all the pressure side tubing (rubber hoses, clamps, metal tubing....both before and after the intercooler) If I get some batteries for my digital camera, I could email you a few photos. Let me know.

Brand-X if you have AOL instand messanger it would be a lot easier to talk with you, my screen name is Mike17Nosal and I'm on often at night. Pictures would be awesome and I'd like to hear more on the "rubber tubing configuration you used ". Did you say this Intercooler was for a 95 Corvette? In your signature i thought it said you have a LT4... I'll be talking to you soon.

P.S. Thanks StealDads67, but if you need the intercooler and could get a deal on it, go for it!!

Mike
