Self deleted/full time EGR
While doing some routine maintenance I discovery the EGR valve on my LT1 had self deleted by developing a vacuum leak in the diaphragm. So when EGR was commanded I got a slight vacuum leak instead.
When the AIR hose was removed for EGR access I noticed soot in the hose. The AIR check valve was leaking causing exhaust gasses to be pulled through the AIR tubes and pump and into the intake. Giving the effect of full time EGR.
I didn't really notice a performance reduction. Did have to clean the MAF though.
