Let's start basic, if you know the battery is good. Lock the and walk away for a few minutes let the car reset, using the key unlock and try to start. If it starts take it up a notch close the door walk away see if it does the normal lock down.

If the security light is not on steady, then it's not a PKE problem. It takes 3 to 5 minutes for VATS to reset and key has to be in off position.
Check the battery voltage with a meter as well as the battery connections.
There is clicking from the right side as I have heard it also but I would not focus on that for a fix.
Don't forget the starter could be bad.
