Rear alternator support rodbar needed

Is it needed when ac compressor has been deleted so less weight stress

Looks like a fairly common piece. I would check a local you-pick-a-part junkyard.

Is the new alternator rear S.R.E end frame not correct to mate to the brace? Do you have the brace/bracket that you removed?

You want to remove the round rod support that's there now?

Ideally I believe you would trim this support also and add it to your mounting. This one I guess you still have?

I've had combos with and without that and no problems. I am aware of many broken alternators without the support rod but it did not happen to mine. Hmm if I were you I would try it without the part but be aware the alt could break.
