Default LT4 Rocker Arm Issues

Hey all. I have a 96 C4 with an LT4. I had a lifter go bad on the passenger side, which let my rocker arm jump off the valve and wear material off almost to the pin. I found a roller rocker from Scoggin Dickey, part number 19210725, which is a 1.6 roller rocker and meets the general specs for the engine. I have already replaced my lifters and gotten everything about sealed back up. Here's my problem:

The SD rocker arm wants a 3/8 rocker stud, whereas the stud in the car now is 10mm. AKA, I am 18 thousands off from being able to fit the stud into the rocker. These are non adjustable rockers, so having the correct thread length is important. Does anybody know where I can find either the OEM (now discontinued from the recall) rocker arm or the correct 7/16 to 3/8 non adjustable stud?

You can try to put out a wanted add in the for sale section for an original 10mm rocker, or buy a new set of self aligning rockers, or buy a stud to use the single rocker you have and adjust it normally. You definitely should not use a 3/8 rocker with the 10mm stud.

I ended up deciding to keep my 3/8 rocker from SD, and bought a 7/16 to 3/8 adjustable stud from summit and the adjustable nut from them as well. Gonna look a little wonky with one rocker not being the same as the rest, but hey! It’s covered up all the time. Will consider in the future making it a matching set with other upgrades.

That is exactly what I was going to suggest. The factory used the non-adjustable to make assembly easier and trouble-free since this was a low volume engine build..

I have successfully pressed out the fulcrum from the lt4 crane rocker and pressed it back into the standard 3/8 adjustable rocker also from crane, body virtually identical to the lt4 the fulcrum is the only difference I just used a regular vise and two sockets. One socket needs to be the same diameter as the fulcrum or slightly smaller the other goes on the opposite size and is larger than the fulcrum then you simply but carefully tighten the vise to push out the fulcrum reverse to install

I even swapped the lt4 fulcrums into the new GM 1.6 rockers that dont use washers to self align its one solid piece with the roller tip much better design
