Hood release installation
I need to install a new hood release cable assembly on my 1984 Vette. Do I have to remove the whole dashboard to reach the bracket? Has anyone done this job on their Vette? :banghead:

If the 85 is similar to your 84 then it is not that bad.
The hardest part to me was trying to get the boot on the new cable to seal on the firewall. Working under the corner of the dash is a bit of a pain too.
But considering many items - this is not that bad.
