Default C68 AC problem fixed

I thought I would share what fixed a problem on my C68 AC and hope it can help out anyone else going thru the same. At first it wouldn't always blow air thru the correct area. I rebuilt the programmer (part under the dash with the vacuum lines) with parts from Batee-not too hard, just takes a decent soldering iron. . So that part was fixed. Occasionally it would start blowing hot while on AC temps. You know how frustrating intermittant problems can be to solve. It would flash that there was a trouble code, but there was not any code in it-probably because it was only intermittant? I figured it had to be the temp door motor and got another one from a junk yard. When I had the harness unplugged from the original and dropped down to the junk yard motor it worked fine-then the intermittant problem popped up.At temp 60, 65,66 it stayed on the cool side. Any higher and it swung all the way to the hot side. As I was unplgging it again the wire to the feedback fell off from the back of the plug. Apparently with all the times I've been under the dash the wire got bent/barely making a connection and finally broke all the way. So the intermittant fault was not in the motor, but the wire harness. If yours ever goes full hot from cold it's losing contact with the feedback circuit from the motor. Hope this can help someone else.Intermittant electrical problems suck!

Any photos... or can you get a random photo of this component and maybe circle what you are referring to? This sounds like important information that can spare someone a lot of time and pain. Thanks you.
