Keyless Entry Question - 1995
My keyless entry fob was damaged recently. The wire wrapped around the circuit board was cut several times. I am getting ready to replace the wire but I don't know the length of wire to use. Is the length of wire critical? Does it determine the affective range or does it determine the tranmission frequency? Or both? There is a number painted on the inside of the unit cover "94355." What does this number represent? Any other info that can help me return this to operation is appreciated. Thanks

They all have the same frequency. When you buy a new fob, you have to train it and the car to recognize each other.
Don't know the frequency. Look in the owners manual. There should be an FCC section there.
