I am interested in help trouble shooting problems with my 1987 l98 engine from a c4 corvette I have it swapped in my 1974 jaguar xj6. I am having extremely high idle problem around 1500 when warm. Any advice is appreciated I am new to this engine so I am very inexperienced.
If you turn the car off and restart does the idle drop to where it should be? Also if you blip the throttle very quickly does the idle return to the desired idle speed?
