Okay so I've read a little bit about putting a 93 LT1 engine in a 95 Corvette. The 93 is from a wrecked Corvette but has 23k miles.
It's the best deal around me for hours. The optispark I will swap to a vented. But will my 95 harness interchange with the 93? Or do I need to splice the 93s to the 95s? Not big on wiring so may go to a shop but am trying to keep the car original my block is just toasted. Souna. Bearing and seized a piston and cracked the wall through to the cooling chamber so it's out of question.
You will need to keep your 95s intake manifold, fuel rail, and throttle body. As well as the exhaust manifolds. If you decide to keep the 93 opti, you can buy the pigtail for it.
You can't swap the optisparks between 93 and 95 because the drive configuration is different and non-compatible. You can swap the opti and its matching drive shaft from the 95 to the 93 engine. (This is what I would do.)
I don't know the exact differences between injectors, throttle body, and other details. But the 95's entire intake manifold with injectors, fuel rails and throttle body will bolt to the 93 engine. Plug the 95's wiring directly into the newly configured 93 engine. If you swap the intake, most of the electrical components will be the original 95's anyway. The rest are compatible. Swap the knock sensors, too.
I would suggest you plan to completely re-seal the 93 engine prior to installation. Oil pan, front cover and it's 3 seals, valve covers, intake, even the dipstick tube and filter stand. Replace the pressure switch on the rear. I have a 92 and oil leaks have been a constant nuisance. I finally did everything I just mentioned all at once, and 1,000 miles later, it is finally still dry.
Good luck with your swap. It should go well.
PS: If the ECM from the 93 is available, I am willing to pay good money for it to have as a spare. Get the guy to throw it in with the engine, sell it to me, and defray some of the cost of the replacement engine. Win-win. Thanks.
Thank you all for the tips, hopefully everything goes smoothly, and it will comes with the engine harness and computer which I will be selling if I don't need them,(which seems to be the case) if you'd like message me privately and we can swap personal info and setup a deal

Okay with the optispark I need a pigtail 100%? Because my vented 95s optispark isnt the best but the night the motor blew I thought fixed the starting issues because sometimes it was doing nothing when turning the key and then cleaning around the opti and cleaning all grounds it started constantly no issues but then spun a bearing on the way home sadly. So it may be worth swapping to the 95 opti but may not be just because of mine may or may not having issues.
But if I absolutely need a pig tail being shot on funds this month and it being my daily I may swap it to the 95s optispark.
You need this wire and it will connect to yours 95 wire harness. I'd open up the 93 opti and verify if it's original and clean it out, reseal and run it.

Gotcha I'll order one tonight, also am curious if my transmission will bolt to a 93 ? I'm using the 4l60+95 engine but idk if the 93 will bolt

And when you do the timing cover get the right tools to ensure seals go in correctly. There are write ups about it.
I put a 96 in my 93, was no big deal. Used the reluctor ring and 96 cover. 95 doesnt have this, so, its really just a Vented Opti, harness is all. The rest of the stuff is a a little different. Use all 95 intake items, as said before.

Previous owner says he had replaced timing chain before he wrecked said it sounded bad after he obtained the car from the original owner. Car had like 26k I think he said so that made me worry if the motors a lemon but I doubt it. I've got everything off the 95 and set aside I need but haven't touched the 93 yet. Buddy's 93 LS swap truck broke a diff at a drift event so it's in the way of my motor stand 😂 so motors on hold till that's fixed but hopefully everything goes smoothly when swapping.
