It's actually pretty simple except for pulling the timing cover and removing that drive piece. the pump is around $200. I have pics. e'mail me if you want them. FoolCrzy@aol.com

I am still around sorry for the extra late replies. Between work and school have barley had enough time to wash my car. The motor is stock it dynode in at 277.1 rwhp. It was scheduled for a run on Feb. 20th but the shop had to cancel every one went home sick. The next run is scheduled for mar 6th. Right now I am having d two problems. 1 is the service engine light keeps coming on the error is an enriched fuel mixture. The o2 sensors did get fuel on them from the flooding that happened on the first start. The light only comes on when I am driving up the high way with the cruise set for 55.
The second problem is around 1500-1800 rpm the motor hesitates when applying light pressure to the pedal. The problem is worse when driving down hill. The solution I have found is to keep the rpm’s higher than two thousand. There is no problems taking off from a light and hammering it the car hauls azz now. sorry for the late response I have been school and working.
Re: Started procharger install today (Spacecowboy)
Is everything else stock on your car? Do you have access to a diacom? I would look at the numbers on the diacom before I take it to the dyno.
I am willing to bet that the hesitation is caused by excessive fuel. be very careful on the dyno or under WOT. an excessive rich condition can wash the cylinder walls dry!
Yes every thing is stock on the car. No I do not have access to diacom. What is it a computer program or some thin? As for the hesitation I am willing to bet that you are right about it being to rich that is what good year told me. Dose Any one have any ideas on how to fix it?
Ron I wasn’t given a code. I was told that the light came on due to an enriched fuel mixture. The center part of the plug looks fine but the out side dose have some soot on it . So right now I have no idea how to fix what is going on if any one out their has ideas let me know. TIA Lance
Re: Started procharger install today (Spacecowboy)
I don't think there's any way to fix this. You have to get a custom programming. The computer is reading a lean condition due to the excessive air caused by the supercharger, and is dumping fuel as a result. You have to get it programmed with the supercharger.
Re: Started procharger install today (Spacecowboy)
I get the same slight hesitation if I'm going down the interstate and have completely let off the gas and then slightly apply it, and yes it's a little more pronounced if I'm going down a hill......I thought it was the 2 piece clutch
Re: Started procharger install today (Spacecowboy)
Did you gap the plugs correctly(.035).. if not you may be blowing the flame out. Did you upgarde the injectors? Stock injectors will lock up with the external fuel pump...After my install on the stock motor mine would cut out in the upper RPMs....it was the injectors.
ANUT, our motors are very similar, I would love to hear what the Flowmasters sound like on a Corvette (there's only about 10,000 Mustangs around here with them). I have all factory pipes and have been considering exhaust upgrades. Do you ever Race over at Steele, AL.?
Re: Started procharger install today (CT95ATLANTA)
Yea, Steele is where I made my one time 1/4 pass. The Flowmasters sound great. I running the stock exhaust system and resonator...The cats appear to be there but....you know.... Let me know if you wanna meet there?
Re: Started procharger install today (CT95ATLANTA)
Hi every one I have figured out all my hesitation problems. :D All that was wrong was the 160 thermostat. I reinstalled the stock one and all the problems have gone away. The car is all tuned and happy still no dyno results it is still broken. I will be racing this fRiday so I will let you all know how it goes.
