thanks, I found that thread. Later in that thread it was mentioned that he no longer makes them. I didn't need them back then but wished I bought a set. Hell I wished I bought a forced air licence plate insert 20 years ago too.
I have Prothane mounts which are (nearly) solid. They are beefy machined aluminum with a poly bushing. Really nice pieces, really pricey though. Some extra noise transmitted, didn’t notice extra vibration.
I believe Speedway carries solid steel mounts that work for L98, got a set several years ago but returned, didn’t like the design… and quite a few more options on solid LT1 mounts. Some 3/16 plate bent into a U shape and holes drilled would probably work for the L98, or even modified OEM mounts. Chunk of billet with holes drilled tapped may work on an LT1.
