LCD, lights out
The dash LCD cluster is out again...most likely a broken solder joint. I pulled out my GM service manual and looked at the wiring diagram. Interestingly, the plug for the LCD only shows 6 wires in that plug, of which 2 for the12v and one for the ground. But there is many more wires in the plug. What are the other wires for? Also, where is the other plug on the LCD shown on the wiring diagram? Thanks

I checked the voltage on the plug to be sure there was 12v. There was. So I reconnected the LCD thinking it might be a bad connection at the plug. The LCD lit up after about 5 seconds. Now the entire LCD is lit up. All the indicators are illuminated. Like it needs to be reset. Any ideas?
