I don't know how you would do this without a Tech that can make it run. Maybe exercise it BEFORE flushing. I have talked (via email) from a man who rebuilds them and he says that no amount of flushing or exercising the ABS will clean out the screens or solenoids. There is just not enough flow. The exercising of the ABS with the Tech, he says, is to get out small air bubbles. Dan
I received my new Motive unit from Zip yesterday, Opened the package to inspect and a very simply made weed killer spray tank with a gauge and fittings. No instructions included which i was very disappointed in that they could not even include a note telling where you can print it out. In regards to the cap for the master cylinder no hose protruded down underneath it. Two large soft washers where included. I was not sure what to do with them until I watched a YouTube video showing how to use it. From the posts that members have added to this thread I am guessing to leave a air gap between the fluid level and the top of the cap. I am also guessing that when you pressurize the system the air gap will help maintain pressure, The same as in a water pressure tank for a well. If I am thinking wrong on any of the above please let me know as I am open to all new ideas.

i was wondering this today... do you think that there'd be any value in having the car in the air, the bleeder tool appying negative pressure to the bleeder valve and then forcing the ABS test that happens after KeyOn and at 4MPH to occur? I know the ABS cycles the valves(or something) but would that be enough to let the fluid be sucked/pushed through them?
