86 Corvette Code 36
I'm helping out a friend with a code 36. I went to replace the Burn off relay and discovered we have five wires to the burn off relay. No, I'm not talking about the power relay, It also has five wires that match my 86 Corvette FSM diagrams. The burn off relay has orange, orange, green, black, blue. Anyone ever see this? It looks old and original, owner for 20+ years says he has never changed any wiring. The new relay might work if I delete the green wire and repin the orange wire in the connector. Any thoughts on this?

The two orange power wires were on terminals D and E with no power to terminal C. Old wires are sometimes hard to identify, especially blue and green. I need to strip back the harness to find a clean spot. As soon as I have access to the car again I will trace the wires. .
