Hey you will just have to buy a Coul hood along with the intake it will look sweet. I read up about it in the GM High Tech Magizine and it's worth it and the F body guys are having hood fit problems to. They said something about Holley maybe making one to fit the F bodys and Vettes.

Re: stealth ram custom plenums (grumpyvette)
I believe upper rpm's will be phenomenal with this set-up. I'm just wondering how torque off the line will be. Also, I bet those first few on E-Bay will be going for some big bucks!
One suggestion though, you might want to consider making the throttle bores 58mm instead of 57mm. I think that would appeal a lot more to the folks that are planning on using a 58mm throttle body. No sense in making it a "restrictor plate" engine intake.
:seeya
Or better yet...why not hog it out for those who want to use a monoblade throttlebody.
Wow. Anybody who would say that the Mini Ram has a limited torque range either hasn't driven one, or has driven one on an engine with horribly mis-matched components. It simply is the best intake I've ever ran on a small block. Far superior to the Super Ram in every way and little (if any ) compromises. Definitely no limited torque/power range. How could there be? It's no different than a stock LT1 intake, except it's an air gap design?
The Stealth Ram is also a great intake. Runner length being longer than the MR might effect higher RPM use, but not by much and not nearly as much as the SR. In fact, I'm not sure why there are so many people on this site running the SR. I had it, ran it, hated it, took it on and off and on and off and hated it more every time. Very comprimised high rpm usage. Poor tolerances and build quality. Just my experience.
I'm amazed that they didn't take the C4 hood clearance into effect when they made the SR in the beginning. Amazing. For the cost and performance, it's hard to pass up. I wouldn't think you'd have much trouble selling some modified plenums.

350 CI for now anyway. Thinking that the MR (or the Stealth Ram ) are only good for larger displacement motors is the wrong way to look at it. Afterall, the specs (Runner length and dimensions) are nearly the same as the stock LT1 intake and obviously that intake works great with 350 CI and larger.
the picture is distorted slightly , the throttle body bores are about 2.25" or 57 mm
the picture of the plenum with the scratched up surface was a proto-type with 2.1" bores or 53mm bores
we did lots of testing to get the air flow correct
The pictures look good! What kind of testing did you do? What did you have to change to correct the airflow?

The original Stealth Ram required the small distributor.
Does this modification allow using the large style HEI distributor?
NO, it still requires the small base distributor but theres quite a bit more room due to the vacume fittings being removed from the rear wall of the plenum like the holley plenum had plus a slight angle to gain better airflow and clearance on the custom plenum. What about fuel rails? What will work?
the standard holley stealth ram fuel rails work
