Recently had a coolant line blow, replaced the t bracket with a straight connector as shown (side note, why was it a t bracket in the first place? breather valve or something?), when it went this wire came loose. I looked for where it'd attach but couldn't see anything obvious, topped off the coolant and drove it for about 15 minutes and everything seemed fine, no engine lights. Thoughts? It's coming from one of the injectors
EGR Temp switch/sensor, just look at the foil wrapped pipe over the rt. Valve cover.
As for your spliced coolant hose it was common years ago to put a prestone coolant flush tee there, your clean straight splice is as close as you will get to factory without a replacement hose

I still have my Coolant flush tee, and use it. Do they still make those?
