Hi,
I found some old threads that described how to adjust the TPS with jumper wires and that is should be at .525 volts at idle. I have been playing with the TPS and have run across an odd behavior. As I started my adjustment I was at .493 volts. I slid the TPS up slowly and got to .514 volts. I continued to slide it up and the voltage started to go back down. I assumed that the voltage would continue to rise. The TPS is a potentiometer (I think) and should be one directional? Do you know if this indicates a bad sensor?
Thanks for any help!
Ryan
Might do a sweep, double check grey wire for 5v ref. Then backprobe the blue wire and slowly rotate the throttle linkage. If tpi .54 for maf works. Sd .67-.76 those usually are fixed no elongated holes in the tps.
