The fact that it just turns off, suggests that there is no reference signal to ecm. You may want to try another module. When my pickup coil started to flake out, it took more than an hour before I could restart.
scroll down from that link. possible cause. felt like it just shut off. i thought it was electrical thats how abrupt it was. fuel sock plugging. mine got so bad it would plug, then if have to restart, while rolling. i put a cleaner in the tank, which exacerbated the issue because it caused the fine particles to come loose and get caught up in the intake sock.
