I will do the test again. I'm not that good at understanding these instructions. I didn't see anywhere that it said use a noid light. I used a test light
The test light is used to probe the 4 way connector on ECM side.
Injector test light is a noid light
No there is no code. I talked to Painless and their going to ship me another Vats Bypass. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I will let you know when I get it installed and if it works. Thanks for all your help,
That's a tricky one since you've replaced almost everything. Since you've already swapped the ECM, I'd double-check the wiring from the coolant temp sensor to the ECM. A faulty connection there can send the wrong temp signal and prevent the injectors from firing when hot.

Just to verify, when you did step 7, you had the test light connected to battery positive when probing 4 pin connector ?
I miss understood the instructions and what you was asking. the instructions says: did the injector light blink, no. I put the noid light back in the harness and connected the test light to the + battery post and touched the test light to the 4 way momentarily (430) and the light stays on. doesn't blink. I also put the harness back on the injector and the light stays on
I didn't mean to miss lead you just didn't understand
The noid light should flash on then off when you touch and remove the test light from 430.
Sounds like that is what basically is happening as per the flow chart ?
As I suggested way back, you may want to try a different ignition module.
no the noid light does not flash only the test light. I ordered a new module. hopefully the new module and the new vats bypass will fix it. I will let you know when I get them installed. Thanks again for you help and patience.
I purchased a new old stock GM module and had it tested before I installed it and it tested good but still won't start. Tomorrow I'm going to install a new vats bypass. I will post the results.
I installed a new old stock GM ICM module that I had tested at the parts store before installing and it tested good. I also installed a new vats module. I have spark and still no noid pulse when I try to start it. I started running the test that you posted. tell me if I did it right or wrong
switch on, I have power on both side of the injector harness, then I put the noid light in the harness and with a test light connected to the positive side of the battery I touch the distributor at connection 430.no blink on noid light. I did test # 8, still no blink on noid light. test # 9, I didn't hear fuel pump or relay. But I do hear it when I first turn the switch to on.
I'm new to some of the testing it says to preform. when I test connection B5. Am I testing for power or ground. I have changed the ECM prior.
with a test light connected to the positive side of the battery I touch the distributor at connection 430.
Is the 4 way connector unplugged and are you touching 430 on the ECM side of 4 way connector. You mentioned touch the distributor at connection.
Is your oil pressure switch functioning properly and wired into the fuel pump circuit ?
When you turn ignition on and hear fuel pump run, check ECM terminal B2 and see if there is battery voltage there when pump runs for the 2 seconds.
I redone the test touching 430 on ECM side, no blink on the noid light but I can hear the fuel pump running. I did step # 8 and I could hear fuel pump but no noid blink.
Switch on, I did step # 9 with test light to ground on D15 and D16. No power on either.

Were the other 7 injectors still connected ?
There should be battery voltage at D15-16 with key on, unless all injectors are disconnected, both injector fuses failed, ignition not sending power to injector circuit or faulty connection between ecm connector and injector harness.
Which one is it ?
all but one injectors were connected. Remember Agent 86 this is a engine swap using a Painless stand alone wiring harness and does not have the fuses like a factor C4. I will contact Painless and ask them about D15 and D16 not having power.
Do you have step # 10
