For those that have done it, would it be possible to stab the transmission already bolted to the bellhousing? Sorry if this is a dumb question but it seems like it would solve any issues getting the throw out bearing lined up correctly. Clutch lines would already be through the previous slave hole. I have the kit and will be installing soon.
I tried that and gave up. It might be possible outside the Car but not putting it together in the Trans Tunnel. It's not that big of a deal to do it. You can cut an inspection hole or use a camera to make sure it lined up right.
I'll add, there is no need to do any drilling on the bell housing. Take your time measuring the TOB to be within specs of RAM. I honestly cannot remember if my dad and I installed the bell housing and trans at the same time. I'll ask him, and see if he remembers.

I used long bolts to keep it aligned
If you have the dual disk, get the steel alignment tool
I could not get all the plates aligned with the plastic one.
A transmission jack was really helpful
I've done mine and need to post a write-up on it, tl;dr you cannot due to how the hydraulic lines are positioned. As 1993C4LT1 mentioned there's no need to drill into the bell housing if you're smooth with it, I recommend a borescope and a thin rod to poke around with to get it all lined up. Unfortunately I didn't have a scope on hand so I drilled mine for better access, but even if you do it's not the end of the world and made of magnesium, so very soft.
This is the thread from when I did it, with some more images from Brian and others.
Thanks for the replies. I completed mine, did not drill the bellhousing, used a camera. It was stressful but went in pretty easy. I was able to use the plastic alignment tool on my dual disc. So far I am very happy with the results. I also installed Core short shifter and am very happy with it as well. The clutch feels very nice considering it’s supposed to handle 700 plus horsepower.
I think my dual mass flywheel is toast? Replaced it with the Ram dual disc and steel flywheel as mentioned above. No more rattle when I shut the car off.
