Bad shock actuator

Bad shock actuator
I have a 93 ZR1 and the drivers front shock actuator popped off the top of the shock. I looked and it looks like the plastic "retainer ring" broke. some folks have mentioned you can epoxy it back together.
I need some help figuring out how these mount and how they might be fixed.
I'm also interested in any used actuators, new they are $355 discounted!!! (list 566!!)
even putting it back in place the service ride control is still it up, probably have to position the shock and rotate it to the soft setting and get everything lined up.
